Downtime

Latest Model
Our 3rd little girl, Adelaide Rose, made her debut on May 30th after an amazingly short 1 hour 45 min labor. Her disposition is placid and sweet and we all love having her as part of our family. She weighed 9 lbs 14 oz at birth, so some of the newborn baby cardigans I made for her are almost too little already, so I'll be stitching some new ones in size 6 mos. :)

Classic Cardigans
I'm 39 weeks pregnant today - and while I've been waiting for baby to arrive, I've been designing lots of baby things, of course. Firstly, I designed this Classic Baby Cardigan. After a few requests, I then designed the Girls Classic Cardigan pattern (sizes up to 8 years) and made matching ones for Holland & Madison.
There are a few more baby designs I plan to release once baby #3 is here to kindly model them for me. These include a new baby bundler pattern and a carseat blanket. I hope to debut them in my next crochet newsletter and in a future blog post!

Awesome Mens Moccasins
I've been wanting to design some men's moccasins for a while and am so pleased I finally did! I love how these turned out. The slippers are made in 2 pieces - sole/upper and the toe/tongue. Features decorative whip stitching at the toe and tie that threads around the ankle for a great fit...just like real moccasins!

Mock Cable-Knit Crochet
Recently I've been creating some new knit-look designs that use a simple combination of basic crochet stitches. These patterns involve no post stitches and of course, no knitting! This unique crochet cable technique creates a lightweight fabric and uses less yarn than traditional cable patterns.
