Today I finished Holland's sweater, adding the sleeves, ribbed neckline and picot edging to cuffs, neckline, front and bottom of cardigan. The yarn I used is a cotton/acrylic/nylon/wool blend and is super soft and warm. I may try to write this pattern up in size 1-3 years only and then design something similar in baby sizes later on...
Thanks. :) I find I am really enjoying photography when it comes to taking pictures of my little girl modeling my designs. Getting a great shot is almost a greater thrill than making the item itself. :)
So FANTASTIC!!! your photos make your design look even more exceptional..Holland is such a adorable lil model. Wonderful just wonderful, sweaters & pics;),
Thanks again. I showed the cardigan to my craft publisher today and she mentioned possibly doing a book of my knit-look designs and wants me to get this pattern written up...so I guess I have been pressed into it now. :)
Love it! How about a knit-look LADIES cardigan? I would sure like to see your designs work their magic there. With enough shaping for the waist and perhaps a ample cozy collar?....
you are so talented! what a beautiful sweater!
ReplyDeleteCute cardigan, but I'm also impressed with your photo of Holland sitting on the fence with the flower in her hand. It's a great shot.
